Resolving Premature Ejaculation

So it’s over before it really even started?  Bummer!  All is not lost.  Assuming your control issues are not promoted by medications (antidepressants, etc.) or some other physiological issue, there are strategies to help a husband control his ejaculatory process.  Let’s call it the start and stop method.

Steps:

1. You and dear wife settle in when you can spend some time on this exercise without fear of interruption or distraction.

2. Relax.  Breathe deeply and slowly.  Clear your mind.

3. Using the pads of her finger, dear wife caresses various parts of your body around your penis bot NOT the penis itself.  She caresses the thighs, stomach, buttocks, pubic mound and testicles.

4. Don’t worry about ejaculating.  Focus on the feelings of her hands on your body and how that stimulates you. 

5. After about 5 to 10 minutes, have dear wife take your penis in hand and begin stroking  She must just focus on the head and very base of your penis.   Your task is to focus only on your own sexual sensations.

6. She must stroke slowly until you become aware of how you progress toward orgasm. Allow your self to come as close to orgasm as you can get without losing control–just before the “point of no return.”

7. Then stop for 10 to 20 seconds, until the urgency subsides a bit. Repeat the exercise until you can control the orgasm three or four times.

Expect to do this a few times to get the best sense of how to determine when to stop…and start again.  Pay attention to your breathing.  Breathing deeply and slowly may help you slow the ejaculatory process.

Relax.  Don’t worry.  Worry makes the situation worse.  Practice, practice, practice…
