Christians and Sex: Walking The Line

Some things are done during sex just for the pleasure of it (perhaps most things).  Having said that, we then have to vet our choices to assure we are acting in ways that are not outside our faith.  Paul says in Romans that things done against your faith are sin.

We are Christians.  Though our blog is explicitly sexual, our perspectives are in alignment with our understanding of what God wants for us and allows us.  If you are not a Christian, this and other posts won’t make sense to you.  If you are a Christian, my question then is are there lines we shouldn’t cross and how do we identify them?

Of course, we know there shouldn’t be adultery, orgies, threesomes, spouse swapping, porn, beastiality, incest, SM or the like.  That’s the easy stuff…

But then there are the fringe behaviors like golden showers (urinating on each other), scat (defacating on one another), cross-dressing, shoe-licking…  I could go on…but won’t.

We quote the Hebrews scripture concerning the marriage bed being undefiled.  Is that a blanket that covers all behavior not explicitly prohibited by scripture?  How are these choices to be made?  What are the Biblical principles that govern our sexual behavior?

We’d love to hear from you on this!
